Instructions
1: In a large bowl, mix the jackfruit, chickpeas, chickpea flour, and panko. 2: Add water and bay leaves, and stir in the Better than bullion no chicken base. 3: Prepare the seasoning mix by combining aquafaba, miso paste, minced garlic, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, sage, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, tumeric, liquid smoke, salt, and black pepper. 4: Incorporate the seasoning mix into the jackfruit-chickpea mixture. 5: For the BBQ sauce, combine ketchup, honey/agave, apple cider vinegar, hot sauce, vegan Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, molasses, salt, mustard powder, chilli powder, Cayenne pepper, paprika, and black pepper in a pot. 6: Bring the BBQ sauce to a boil and simmer until thickened. 7: Fry the jackfruit mixture in avocado oil until golden brown. 8: Assemble the sandwiches with the fried mixture and BBQ sauce.View original recipe
