Instructions
1: Peel and trim the ends of medium carrots. 2: Prepare marinade by mixing soy sauce, rice vinegar, maple syrup, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and liquid smoke. 3: Marinate the carrots in the mixture for at least 30 minutes. 4: Chop the onion and mince the garlic for the vegan coney sauce. 5: In a pot, combine the cooked lentils, tomato sauce, yellow mustard, chili powder, apple cider vinegar, cumin, cayenne pepper, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and crushed red chili flakes. 6: Simmer the vegan coney sauce for 15-20 minutes. 7: Grill or roast the marinated carrots until tender. 8: Assemble the carrot coney dogs in buns with the lentil sauce.View original recipe
